2018 - Day 2

After a great night of sleep, we enjoyed a very good breakfast at the hotel. It was some of the best bacon I’ve ever had, and I ate a lot of it.

It didn’t take long for Leona and I to get a little sore again, not used to sitting on the bike. The scenery was boring, but it was a beautiful morning to be riding. The air was fresh and the sun was warm, thought there was still a bit of a chill in the air.

The day’s ride was uneventful once again, mostly just pounding pavement on our way south. We didn’t make many long stops, and lunch consisted of some beef jerky and trail mix.

By the time we got to Moose Jaw we were quite hungry, and decided to call it a day. Time to get some dinner, relax a little, do the daily Bible reading, and get some sleep. We enter the USA tomorrow.

There’s a lot of this in Saskatchewan

Finally some land that isn’t flat!

Stopped for a spot of tea

A little north of Moose Jaw, was nice to have some scenery
